| 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful  Serviceable gig bag, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Musician's Gear Electric Guitar Gig bag I just got this, so I can't comment on durability over extended use yet (which is certainly an feature important for a gig bag).However, I can comment on: 1) Design- the design is simple and adequate. The backpack shoulder straps are well placed, the side carrying handle is balanced well enough for my telecaster and sewn securely enough that I have confidence that it will take long carrying abuse. The accessory pocket is minimal -think strings and picks and maybe a short amp cord. Not the place to carry your stomp boxes. I think they could have reduced the length of the zipper so that it is easier to get the guitar in and out without laying the bag down. 2) Fittings - the fittings are basic - backpack straps are unpadded and will not be comfortable for long walks, padding is minimal (probably my largest overall complaint). The zipper pulls and strap clips are metal and seem sturdy enough, the straps are nylon webbing and will be plenty sturdy. 3)... However, it's padding is very thin (Dust cover thin) The Deluxe version to their bags is a whole lot better, and offers excellent protection.The day after I bought 2 of these I got 2 of the Deluxe versions on sale for just $5 more.
