Epiphone Case for Epiphone Dot, Sheraton, 335 Reviews

The case is plush inside and it fits the Dot like a glove. Heavy. Strong. Inside storage for accessories. In an ironic twist, the case arrived at my door in three layers of protection: an Amazon box with paper packing; a Epiphone box with corrugated supports; and a thick plastic wrapper. Too bad the people making the case weren't as careful. The case has a couple of light scrapes and a couple of dings on the outside. Certainly not the result of shipping. Ok, it is a "case" that will get abuse protecting the Dot. The philosophical question is: who has the privilege of the first ding, the manufacturer or the purchaser? If the manufacturer elects to abuse the case before it's sent, then packaging it as if it were fine china seems to be a little overkill. Just slap a UPS label on the handle and throw it in the back of the truck. This case is closed. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Epiphone Case for Epiphone Dot, Sheraton, 335 (Electronics) When my case arrived I feared it was too small to hold my Epiphone Dot. But, this case fits my Dot like a glove. The case is sturdy enough to protect my guitar from knocks and dings while the plush inside pampers the guitar's finish. The accessory compartment is large enough to hold my picks, tuner, and extra strings. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Zelie Nic (Pittsburgh) - See all my reviews This review is from: Epiphone Case for Epiphone Dot, Sheraton, 335 (Electronics) I bought an epiphone casino from a guitar store... guy threw in this case. THere were tears all over the case, but its well built, and held together well. The case's stood two and a half years of near continuous gigging, and's kept the guitar well snug inside.I'd pay the $60 for it. |
